I was a guest at a wedding the year before my own, and when I saw her flowers I knew I had to have her do mine (whenever the time came)! Planning a wedding is daunting and overwhelming, but after my initial meeting with Katie I knew I didn’t have to worry about flowers at all. She has such a special gift of matching flowers to people. She knew exactly what I would love before I did! She foraged some of her own greenery and florals, which I think is so special and one of a kind! My grandfather passed away a few months prior to our wedding, and prior to our ceremony, she left a rose on a chair in the front row to honor him. "Poiema Florals was the BEST florist I could have ever dreamed of for our wedding. I am not well-versed in flower types and wasn't sure what my vision was, but Katie worked with me every step of the way to help me find what I wanted. She was so considerate and patient with me, and was amazing at giving visual examples of how things would look (super helpful when I was planning from 1500 miles away.) On the day of the wedding, at the last moment we realized some of the hotel staff had moved flowers that were intended for the mothers and grandmothers. Katie quickly whipped something together and it looked PERFECT just in time to walk down the aisle. We are so glad we went with Poiema for our wedding!!"
